Illustration for We. Hum Collective's Gigs, Humming. Mad #1: UPROAR.  basically, the idea of this illustration is came from when i listened to Cloud Mouth's Songs, the band that played in this event. This is about the highest level of desperation you ever had.

I Did the design for the Poster and ticket too.

Headmade: Everything will be just fine

my illustration for a postcard project, HEADMADE, a project by G.U.T (godspeed us traveller) from surabaya, was exhibited at CCCL, Surabaya, February 26th 2011.

actually the illustration is about destiny and positivity, and also my deepest feeling :)

Berbeda dan Merdeka 100%

This is participation for Sunday 13th, an inisiative movement with all street artist from Indonesia (im not street artist, i join for the same purpose, equality to all the people). Berbeda dan Merdeka 100% (Different and Liberated 100%) is a simple words to reminding people that we need to give a spaces to a differences and stay to be liberated person.

I made this from used magazine and newspaper, the concept is simple, we read many different articles on newspaper and magazine, thats the differences part, and the Liberate part is from how i create all of this.

I did this all by myself, on beautiful sunday morning for about a half hours.

Three Phrase of Life

This Illustration for "Lazy Dog Jumps Over The Quick Brown Fox" Exhibition. it's an contemporary typography exhibition held last month in Smarta Gallery, Jakarta.

I've got this number, 3.

so here it is my concept of "Three Phrase of Life". as you can see there's somekind of rail, from top to under. I made this an ordinary story to this number. you know, simple is.. Born, Work, and Death. Repeat.

very simple. Everyone does. don't you boring with this phrase?lol

and here we goes the story:

Born, grow up. Walking, this kid ride his bike to a school, say bye to his mom. on his way to school.

wow, now, he's a teenage. It's his first date. But he don't forget to study, to go into college.

time move so fast, now he's graduated.Then on his way to city, find a job, get married.

Happiness time! got married, have a babies. See them grow up. Till he's very old. and come to the end of his day. Death.

end.

Laminating Art Exhibition

so, im participating in this mini exhibition, the concept is quiet unique, all of artworks must be laminated by laminators, or any other stuff that uniting two or more material or layers  together. in Indonesia lamination process often use for identity card, photo, certificate and many important stuff so they can't be damaged.

the exhibition held in Security Post, Insititut Kesenian Jakarta, friday 30th of July 2010.

in this time i'm a little bit more political , and i did it in Indonesian Languange.yihaaa!

Poster: This is what hardcore shows look like

a dude email me, that he as the hardcore gigs crew want my illustration to be in their poster, and they're from Slovakia, in europe. I said "waw.. its a great honour to be the part of their scene.. especially DIY movement.." then i replied to 'em " yes!". But i request one thing, to capture the final poster that put in the venue.

after two weeks, they email me. and i surprise the poster was put in a very hardcore place, a real venue gigs. that's awesome!

the show took place in OBLUDA KLUB in Bratislava,Slovak Republic last friday. He said that "there have been 100 kids inside, really hot weather here that day and people have fun" :) nicenicenice.

About the illustration is my old work, i made this about two years ago. They found this illustration in my deviantart. The object is Ray Cappo when he's in Shelter.

I only did for the illustration, not the design.

the name of the crew is Carpath Bears. A DIY show booking and label. I love it when "DIY" is in it. Check em here

The Curious

this is the piece i made for "Adidas Street party" last week ago (30 April 2010). Actually this is not a skateboard deck ,lol.

ah so here's my concept of this thing:

"this is about the weird birds called the murkan's they are a curious bird who always don't believe each other just like human being who never trust each other."

This bird is my other character, someday i will make a comic about the murkan. the shy bird and also afraid to get the bird he love. just wait (don't aske me when :P )

Setelah bersabar yang sangat sabar. Akhirnya komik ini sampai juga ke tangan saya, berbarengan dengan komik kompilasi anak ganteng, yang isinya kocak-kocak (punya gw doang yang agak serius..wkakaak). Jadi awalnya gw di sms-in sama Kuro. Nanya mau ikutan kompilasi komik ga. gw bilang ikut lah! secara gw suka yang namanya berkarya. Gw pikir awalnya nih proyek maen-maen, alias seneng-seneng, eh pas gw chat sama yang ngurus Tintha, ternyata nih serius, dan terinspirasi juga dari MANDOR (terharu,..). Ya udah gw bikin deh komik 15 halaman ini. Dengan tema surabaya, dan gw sempet stuck lama banget dengan tema ini, ga tau sama sekali, sehingga jadilah komik cerita garing ini.

cuman ya cetakannya yang dikasih ke gw agak jelek nih.(payah ah..hhehe..becanda)

terus semangat anak surabaya!!!

yang gw rasa scene anak surabaya yang paling semangat di tahun-tahun ini, terutama komik.

yap! im joining into the comic compilation, called, KOMPILASI KOMIK ANAK GANTENG (HANDSOME KID COMIC COMPILATION). which is made by some kickin' tits surabaya kids i love. and this comic is given free to those who come to PKAN (pekan komik nasional), SOLO.

and after they sent me the comic, i'll print it again, and give it to you for FREE again. so call me, and meet me, and i will give you this comic.

Buat "Komik Strip" bersama Toro Elmar

hehe, pasti mikirnya "apaan nih..si toro belum jadi apa-apa uda sok-sokan bikin ginian,,kaya jago aja tuh anak!!", Tapi ini emang yang terjadi. jadi gini, waktu acara pameran di Kampus gw, gw ditunjuk sebagai koordinator workshop Komik Strip yang nantinya akan dijadikan ke atas kain untuk dibatik pada acara "konversi batik". Dan gw pun menunjuk teman-teman gw yang lain, antara lain Griksa dan Atrey.

Karena yang lain pada ga ada persiapan, gw pun  membuat instruction book ini dalam 3 halaman. dengan simpel dan mudah dimengerti, dikarenakan yang akan membaca itu anak-anak yang sama sekali buta sama komik, ataupun jarang membuat komik namun suka membaca, ya hasilnya lumayan, ada beberapa anak menggambar dengan gaya gw. hhihi..
